AIM AND OBJECTIVES
The ATU-Net International Staff Week (ISW) serves as a capacity building programme with the aim to foster stronger ties and to enhance cooperation. It is an annual programme especially tailored for members of staff of the international office to achieve the following objectives:

(i) to enhance skills and competencies in managing international office
(ii) to nurture intercultural competencies and international understanding, and
(iii) to share best practices in various areas related to international relations and activities. 

WHY YOU SHOULD JOIN
In addition to fulfilling the objectives of the programme, here are more reasons why you should not miss the opportunity to join ISW2021: 

(1) Registration fee is waived for staff of ATU-Net member institutions. For staff from outside of the network, a registration fee of USD50 is applicable. 
(2) The programme caters four different areas of international office management:
 Institutional Management, Internationalisation and Ranking; International Partnerships; Students and Staff Mobility; and Visibility and Engagement. You may choose to attend all days or attend only those which are appropriate to your job scope. 
(3) You may choose to participate as
presenter to share your ideas and experiences. Your presentation of is to be pre-recorded, and your extended abstract will be published in e-proceeding with ISSN.

This year, ISW2021 is fully virtual and will be held from 2 August 2021 to 5 August 2021First held in 2019 by Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) as organiser, three more institutions will be co-hosting ISW2021 together with UTM: Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS)Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT) and Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB)

THEME AND SUB-THEMES
The theme of ISW2021 is Redesigning and Managing HEI Internationalisation in an Era of Uncertainties: Collaborating for Global Solutions. Keynote sessions, workshops and paper presentations will concentrate on the theme as well as the following sub-themes, and scheduled according to the following arrangement:
Sub-theme 1 – Day 1: Institutional Management, Internationalisation and Ranking
Sub-theme 2 – Day 2: Establishing and Sustaining Partnerships
Sub-theme 3 – Day 3: Staff and Student Mobility
Sub-theme 4 – Day 4: Visibility and Engagement
