The University Presidents Forum 2020 (UPF2020), UTM’s signature programme was initially scheduled to be held in November this year, making it the tenth of its series. However, the global crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic calls for a postponement and a different approach that would suit the current needs and demands of international higher education. In place of the face-to-face programme, UTM via collaborative works with the Asia Technological University Network (ATU-Net), is organising ATU-Net Virtual UPF2020 in three series. ATU-Net is a strategic international alliance connecting technological higher learning institutions in Asia, and which UTM is both chair and secretariat.

ATU-Net Virtual UPF2020 will be concentrating on higher education and post COVID-19 recovery. Delivered in three series, it will include keynote addresses , roundtable session, and Q&A sessions. It will be attended by university presidents, vice presidents, senior representatives of universities, and other stakeholders of higher education including university students.

Why ATU-Net Virtual UPF 2020?

  • Platform to discuss current issues relating to higher education
  • Outline strategy and action plan to improve collaboration and cooperation among participating universities
