Asia Technological University Network (ATU-Net) is a strategic international alliance of which Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) is the Chair. It was established on 9th August 2016 during the 8th University Presidents Forum at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Johor Bahru, Malaysia, with the purpose of connecting technology-focused institutions of higher learning in Asia. Its mission is to support member universities in achieving world-class quality of education and research in engineering and technology through strategic international alliance.

📢📢📢📢 Calling for participants from all ATU-Net Member Institutions to participate in a virtual mobility programme this upcoming May 2021. Virtual Asia Exploration programme or known as VAx is a two-credit course and will be focusing on two themes which are Engineering & Technology and Culture & History. There will be six hosting institutions conducting the lectures from Malaysia, Japan, Indonesia, Thailand and The Philippines. The first lecture will begin on the 27th of May and ends on the 26th of August 2021.

Lectures will be conducted with details as follows:

Date  : 27th May 2021 – 26th August 2021

Day   : Every Thursday

Time : 15:00 -17:00 (GMT +8), 16:00 – 18:00 (GMT +9), 14: 00 – 16:00 (GMT +7)

Participants will be awarded with Certificate of Completion (up to 96 participants) or Certificate of Attendance (up to 204 participants) at the end of the programme. For more information, kindly refer to the course outline here  http://bit.ly/Syllabus-VAx .

This mobility programme is exclusively designed for ATU-Net Member Institutions by ATU-Net Special Interest Group (Staff and Student Mobility), led by Professor Hiroyuki Ishizaki (Chair of SIG Mobility) from Shibaura Institute of Technology (SIT), Japan and Associate Professor Dr Maria Anityasari (Secretary of SIG Mobility) from Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS), Indonesia.
